This will be the last show we ever play as a band.

Over the past year or so, under the weight of personal and other band commitments, Wayfarer has run out of steam. We’d like to thank anyone who’s supported the band over the past 4 years.

For anyone interested, we all remain active members of other bands. Andy and Pat play in Sectarian Violence, Tom plays inHang The Bastard Official, Jamie and Pat play in Final Rage and Ego Trip, Pat plays in X Repentance X and too many other bands to name. I sing in Strange Places.

Pat and I will be taking the dying lyrical and ideological embers of Wayfarer to another project which will remain a secret.

I just put a ton of my personal records on ebay to help pay for recording new bands/doing the label. I will be sad to see some of these go but my loss is your gain. Some gems for sale, including:

Another Kid, Another Zine #1.

To anyone’s who’s interested, I’m currently writing a fanzine with my personal views on hardcore, interviews with bands all around the world, reviews on shows and other bits and bobs.

Obviously its not going to up to scratch with other notable zines as its the first of its kind, but ill be trying my best to keep it interesting and appealing to you.

The first issues (maybe the only issue) is half way done or so.
Featuring Interviews with Bleak Reality Guilty & Losin’ It along with Reviews on Outbreak Fest and Breaking Points release show.
And other things aha…

There will be 30to50 printed.
I will post the details on how/where to pick one up from when all is finished

Belligerent, cromagnon hardcore from some blokes that are/were in a load of other bands.

Lyrical themes are expected to be dominated by Cockleshell Bay, the potent seam of latent homosexuality in Captain Pugwash, donkeys in straw hats, callow youths releasing loads of crabs into the beach hut of the lady who hires out the deck chairs on Margate Beach, (and then charging her to clear’em out again), cats in bomber jackets and many, many more future classics.

Arriving August 2012…. Probably.
